From time immemorial, the best of the selling techniques has been
Advertisements. In between that one movie you had been waiting to watch for so
long on T.V. ..comes an half an hour long advertisement making you flip the channels,
search for new shows but ends up in finding the advertisement on every other
channel you flip. :D
They say- "First impression is the last impression." It might not
go right for every damn thing in the world but goes very true for the lucrative
ads people make.
You can have a look

for the same.
I would say we have always had a series of creative people who have made one
of the best ads ever. Also, people might not have necessarily bought the things
after seeing the ads but we definitely appreciate the effort.
I have my Facebook page glowing with the ads every now and then.
The Kitkat ad which says- "Have a break, have a kitkat" is counted
on my list as one of the cutest animations portrayed. Such a simple way to say
-It's a beautiful life, but you should have some spare time to witness it.To be
true enough, I still think it was the charm of the ad which made me replace
Cadbury from Kitkat.
The same goes for Idea's -"What an idea Sirji" and especially to
the 3G par Busy ...The first look made me laugh aloud. The second one- what a
brilliant way to mock at yourself and still show the brilliance of 3G
technology.
But the creativity is not visible in every ad we see. Last night,
while flipping the channels-I saw some of the worst ads made-One of the leading
ones is new EverReady ad. It's horrible with no limits.
"Washing powder Nirma" is still hummed and still recalled. That's
when we say-"Old is gold."
The Loreal, Pantene, Garnier and so on..ads make the natural beauty
their own discoveries. And we the people believe every minuscule of it. Rather,
we don't believe it but are always willing to try something new. The sales
rise. The latest Handbags ad featuring Kareeena Kapoor is one of the best
showing the mood swings. You will definitely want to see it again. The ad is
about a girl searching for a perfect Black hand bag and ends up buying an
orange one. The basic aim was to satisfy your customer and tolerate their
drastic mood swings. But, orange-GO GET A LIFE!! An orange hand bag sucks. I
would have appreciated the ad more if it had not been the poor choice of color.
Advertisements, sales and popularity probably have become partners. Each one
contributes to the success of another.
You can witness the same advertising policy and charm during the release of
a movie. Everyone would remember Ghajini and Ra.One's publicity stunt.
That mysterious world of advertisements is just like "THE CONFESSIONS
OF A SHOPAHOLIC." If you don't know about it-Confessions is a movie about
a girl who loves shopping to the heights. I have always loved the movie and specifically
the shopping part. Advertisements- They make you believe, they make you want
things and actually fall for them. You might feel I am exaggerating.
So, how many of you love your iPhone, Samsung Wave or HTC as a matter of
fact. Many of us. Steve Jobs was so true
when he said that you often need to tell people what they actually want by
making them seeing one.
Advertisements did the same.
